The chief of the Riverside Fire District is on paid leave after his arrest for child enticement/sexual conduct.
After his arrest Tuesday, Robert Bowen, 52, posted $15,000 bail, according to WSAW.
He is accused of having an inappropriate sexual contact with a person under 18.
The district attorney requested a high cash bond based on the severity of the allegations while Bowen's attorney argued for a lesser bond amount, saying he has no criminal history and has ties to the community.
Bowen has been chief six years.
No interim chief has been named.
